Grace Is Being Poured into Your Lips

Grace of GOD like fire from my mouth....

There’s a verse in Psalm 45 that says, “Grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever.” I keep coming back to that phrase—grace poured into your lips—because I believe it describes something God is doing right now, in this season, among His people.

We talk a lot about God pouring out His Spirit, His mercy, His favor, His anointing. But I think there’s something happening with our mouths specifically. God is pouring grace into the way we speak. And this isn’t about being eloquent or polished. It’s something deeper—a divine enablement to speak words that actually carry weight in the spirit, words that carry Heaven’s authority and life behind them.

This has always been part of how God works through people. He didn’t just give the prophets thoughts to share—He filled their mouths. He told Moses, “I will be with thy mouth.” He touched Isaiah’s lips with a live coal before ever sending him out. He told Jeremiah, “I have put my words in thy mouth.” Over and over, you see the same pattern: before God sends someone to speak, He does something to their mouth first.

And I think that’s still true. When God touches your lips, your words stop being just your words. They become instruments of His Kingdom.

I believe this is a season where prophetic voices are going to rise up speaking differently than before. Grace instead of condemnation. Faith instead of fear. Hope instead of despair. Healing instead of hurt. Wisdom instead of confusion. Blessing instead of cursing. Life instead of death.

Because the prophetic was never just about predicting what’s coming. It’s about speaking the heart and mind of God into what’s happening right now. Paul said it plainly—prophecy exists to build people up, to strengthen them, to comfort them. Every word that comes from the Spirit does something. It doesn’t just inform, it imparts.

So ask the Lord to pour grace into your lips. Let it show up in your prayers. Let it show up when you preach, when you prophesy, even in your ordinary conversations. Let your words carry the kind of grace that unlocks destinies, strengthens people who are worn out, restores what’s broken, and points people back to Jesus.

May your mouth become a fountain of living water. May everything you speak be seasoned with grace and carried by the Holy Spirit.

Grace is poured into your lips. May that be your portion in this season.
